After months of mysteries and several hospital visits, I was finally diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when I was 17 years old in 2010. Since then, I have been on too many medications to remember and gone through numerous flares and points of remission. This past summer (2013), my diagnosis has changed to Crohn's-Colitis. I think communication with someone who understands where you are coming from is great therapy, especially when dealing with a chronic illness such as this.
