Hartford Yard Goats and Take Steps
In the past 10 years Take Steps has helped to fund a grand slam of research projects including the Microbiome, Genetics, and Environmental Triggers initiatives and the RISK stratification study. Join us in celebrating our Decade of Difference at an awareness game with the Hartford Yard Goats on Saturday, April 21. Tickets are available for $10 and a minimum of $3 will be donated back to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Order tickets by April 1 through the website or download the order form and pay via check.
Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis is a charity fundraising walk that celebrates the dedication of the IBD community. Our walk festival is a day filled with celebration, recognition, games for the whole family, and great food.
The Connecticut Chapter is hosting two walks in 2018!
Take Steps would like to thank our generous National Platinum Sponsor:

EDUCATION & SUPPORT
“I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” ― Brené Brown
Support groups are an ideal way of finding a space where you can feel heard and valued and where others have similar stories to share. Visit a support group near you and share your story. You can also join our Online Community to read personal stories, join a discussion in a variety of forums, or visit the Online Support Group.
Thank you to those who joined the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation CT Chapter for two educational programs this fall! We hope you walked away with more knowledge and support. Keep an eye out for future education events in your area.
Our annual cocktail fundraising event, Bottoms Up, was held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the beautiful Glastonbury Bosthouse. The night included a delicious culinary tasting, open bar, auction, the Bottoms Up Wine Pull, and presentation of our Humanitarian of the Year award to Dr. Joseph Cappa of Connecticut GI. Thank you to all who supported this amazing event!
