Brooklyn Island Take Steps: Sunday, October 8

THANK YOU to all who participated in our NYC Take Steps walk!

Whether you donated, volunteered, fundraised, or all of the above, we truly appreciate your support! On May 16th, our walk was attended by more than 750 walkers and has already surpassed our goal by raising more than $440,000!

Patients, caregivers, family, friends and supporters first celebrated at a festival at Pier 16 before walking toward the Brooklyn Bridge. Walkers were then cheered on as they passed through the finish line at City Hall Park.

Team Challenge Saratoga and Napa-to-Sonoma | July 9 and 16, 2017 | $100,000

This July, the NYC teammates ran the Saratoga half marathon and the Napa-to-Sonoma half marathon after weeks of training and fundraising. Congratulations on crossing the finish line and raising more than $100,000 for cures!

Nationally, Team Challenge raised over $2.3 million to help fund the increasing number of amazing mission programs we conduct! Even more impressive are the 32 Team Challenge Champions, including our own Charles Rand, Ben Goldenberg, and President and CEO, Michael Osso, who went above and beyond their fundraising minimums, raising an average of $17,047 each, and collectively raising over $545,500. Mike McCready, the lead guitarist of Pearl Jam and a Crohn's patient, was Napa's inspirational Pasta Party speaker and half marathon participant.

Beyond the 13.1 miles, it is an incredible journey for patients and their loved ones - from the very first training to the last walker crossing the finish line through a tunnel of orange & blue cheers. Visit ccteamchallenge.org/live to see videos from the events and learn about Team Challenge.
