This year's luncheon program will explore the evolution of research into environmental triggers and the impact Seattle research and patient input has on these research initiatives.

Michael Chiorean, M.D., AGAF, FASGE
Director of the IBD Center of Excellence - a division of Gastroenterology at Virginia Mason, director of Digestive Disease Institute Research, a fellow of the American Gastroenterology Association and the chair of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Northwest Chapter Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC).
Dr. Chiorean will explore the role of environmental triggers in IBD, and share insight into the Foundation's newest study, DINE, which looks at the impact diet and nutrition play in the development and treatment of Crohn's disease.
