Meet Our Twin Cities Honored Hero

2021 honored hero

Eddie Memmen will be three years old in April, and he’s already been an IBD hero for most of his life! Eddie was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease less than a week before his first birthday. His parents say, “Our family grew stronger learning how to help Eddie get stronger. We read everything we could, went to support groups and got involved with Take Steps. We got involved because we love our son.” Today, they say, “Eddie is as happy as can be, smiling and learning every day. He became a big brother in July of 2020, and I can think of no better role model for his sister to have.” Read Eddie's full story on our website.
