Volunteer & Support Camp Oasis

Volunteers... Assemble!

Interested in supporting our life-changing program? Adult IBD patients, GI specialists, mental health professionals, and others – all united by one mission: making an epic experience for kids with IBD.

As a Camp Oasis volunteer, you will:

  • High-five a kid who just conquered their first zipline
  • Be the role model for a camper learning to manage their IBD like a boss
  • Work on a team dedicated to care for the well-being of each and every camper
  • Witness firsthand how one unforgettable summer can change a kid's life forever
  • Be part of a supportive community and make memories to last a lifetime

What Volunteers Say About Their Experience

“Camp is a week of true compassion, empathy, support, encouragement, freedom, learning. Camp teaches campers how to take ownership of their disease They go home with new confidence to step up and own their health journey so that it no longer controls them.”

Listen to our medical volunteers share their experience at Camp Oasis!

“It was one of the best experiences of my life. I’m a patient and to just be around other people who understood some of my challenges was incredible. And adding in being able to be there for the kids in such a fun and supportive way, words cannot describe what the experience meant to me.”
See how becoming a counselor can impact the lives of our campers!

It Takes Dedicated People Like You!

Camp Oasis cannot provide this life-changing experience without volunteers. We need cabin counselors, activity specialists, medical professionals, and more to join the Camp Oasis crew.

Note to Parents Interested in Volunteering: One of the most important outcomes that campers experience at Camp Oasis is an increased sense of independence. To foster that outcome, the Foundation does not allow parents of campers to serve as camp counselors at the same location their children are attending.

Note to Internationals Interested in Volunteering:  We accept international applications at all camp locations; however, precedence will be given to those who live in the camp's territory. After you have applied, please contact the National Camp Office ( to inform them of your circumstance. Like all volunteers, if accepted, you will be responsible for getting yourself to and from camp, but your accommodations during the camp session will be covered.

Donations Are Welcome

Not everyone has the time to volunteer at one of our camp sessions, but there is another way that you can help. If you would like to make a monetary donation to Camp Oasis, please click here. Your gift will help children living with IBD have a fun, educational, and memorable life experience at camp.

NOTE: We do not own or operate any of the camp facilities so we cannot accept in-kind donations.
