Recently, a volunteer mentioned that their superpower was talking to the parents of newly-diagnosed children. I think they would wear a blue cape with the Crohn’s & Colitis logo on the back while they are doing this work—connecting with one other person.
Connecting for support. And for fun. And to share advice. To celebrate the victories and not to carry the setbacks alone.
We can have some fun while we’re doing it! In November and December, I’d like to invite you to connect with the Foundation. If you’re in Monterey or Aptos, we will be having fun runs and book talks. For the pickleballers, join us for the Golden Gate Pickleball Scramble. And our Camp Oasis friends have two opportunities to re-connect with their summer friends!
I hope to see you at one (or more) of these events, see more details below.
All the best,
Morgan Pulleyblank
Executive Director
P.S.: Interested in planning your own fund- and friend-raising event? Let’s talk!

An Evening with an Autoimmune Athlete
Join Crohn’s Disease AIP Cookbook author and local runner Joshua Bradley for a book-signing and Q&A, telling his story about the radical permission we can give ourselves to fiercely pursue living, working, and running a whole life with an autoimmune disorder.
Join author and local runner Joshua Bradley for a 3- or 5-mile run or walk to increase awareness about and solidity in the movement to increase access to treatment and changes in our culture and world to decrease the environmental causes of autoimmune diseases. Refreshments and raffles will be available.
