Celebrating Catalysts in the IBD Community
Uniting to Care & Cure Recognition Program: Award winners
The inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) community is made up of brilliant researchers, dedicated clinicians, inspiring patients, selfless caregivers, generous donors, and so many other individuals and organizations. Each member of the community is critical to our mission, but it is the passion and vision of these individuals and organizations – the catalysts in the IBD community – that drive us forward.
The Foundation's Uniting to Care & Cure Recognition Program was created to acknowledge and honor forward-thinking and/or exceptional individuals advancing paradigm-shifting ideas or initiatives. The Uniting to Care & Cure Recognition Program encompasses all awards presented to individuals by the Foundation at the local and national level.
New in 2018, the Foundation is launching a new peer-nominated awards program - the Catalyst Awards - as part of its Uniting to Care & Cure Recognition Program. Through this initiative, we will seek nominations from members of the IBD community to honor individuals whose innovative ideas and commitments of time, energy, and resources are helping to advance IBD research, improve and standardize quality of care, advocate for community needs, and much more.
Recipients of the Catalyst Awards will be exceptional individuals who are true catalysts for significant and positive change in the IBD space. We are currently accepting nominations of individuals in four categories:
