COURSE DESCRIPTION
The IBD Clinical Practice Video Series is an accredited activity to educate gastroenterology trainees and recent graduates on the latest information on treatments and management in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). This program is a four-part, free online series of engaging videos based on identified knowledge gaps among trainees. The activity is developed by the Rising Educators Academics and Clinicians Helping IBD (REACH-IBD), a task force under the CCFA’s National Scientific Advisory Professional Education Committee. Offering providers with this vital information will ensure a better understanding of key topics in IBD, and ultimately improve the care of their patients.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended to meet the educational needs of gastroenterology physician trainees and recent graduates involved in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases.
OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be better able to:
- Discuss how to monitor efficacy and respond to treatment failure
- Categorize risk of recurrence in patients after Crohn's disease surgery
- Select appropriate therapies for patients with Crohn's disease
- Outline management principles for pregnant women with IBD
- Identify landmarks of pouch endoscopy and interpret changes of the pouch via endoscopy
