Halloween can be fun and scary! But for the millions of people affected by inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), it can be scary and isolating. It’s also scary how many do not fully understand these diseases and how they impact daily life.
Living with IBD can be scary, but with advanced research, we are going to scare it right back! Fundraise now through Halloween and raise awareness and funds for IBD cures!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Register to fundraise and Scare the Guts Out of IBD.
- Decide how you want to raise funds - is it dreadful decorations, a creepy costume, or painted pumpkins? See examples from our toolkit for inspiration, or create your own. Go all out and tie your idea back to IBD!
- Share your fundraiser with your friends and family to raise awareness and request donations.
Tag the Foundation and use #ScaretheGutsOutofIBD in your social posts. The top three fundraisers will be featured on the Foundation's social media!
Visit our apparel store and snag your commemorative Scare the Guts out of IBD shirt, order by October 15 to receive your shirt in time for Halloween!
NOTE: For current, active fundraisers through Take Steps, Team Challenge, or spin4 crohn's & colitis cures, do not register here. You can fundraise by sharing your existing fundraising page with your IBD-themed Halloween fundraiser instead of setting up a new page. Be sure to connect with your local Chapter staff partner if you’d like additional information.
