Volunteer With Us

Thousands of volunteers have helped the Foundation accomplish its research, education, and support goals throughout the country. Without our volunteers, we would not have been able to accomplish all of this.

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help with special events, serve on our committees and Leadership Boards, perform community outreach and much more. If you would like to volunteer with the North Texas/Oklahoma Chapter, please complete this interest form or email Jacquelin Leech, Senior Executive Director at [email protected]. 

Dallas Young Professionals Board 

The Dallas Young Professionals (YP) Board is a working committee of young professionals ages 21 to 35 who work in partnership with the Northern Texas/ Oklahoma Chapter to further the mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. The goal of the YP board is to increase awareness of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis amongst young professionals and to raise funds to find a cure for these diseases supporting quality education and support services for patients. 

The YP Board hosts quarterly networking events and the popular annual Trivia Night for a Cause. If you are interested in learning more about the Young Professionals Board or attending an upcoming networking event, please email Monica Johnson, YP Board President, at [email protected].

Workplace Giving

Choosing the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation as the recipient of your workplace giving campaign is one very important way you can help to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. If your company participates in annual United Way, be sure to write in Crohn's & Colitis Foundation and provide the Foundation's EIN: 13-6193105. 

The North Texas/Oklahoma Chapter is a member of Community Health Charities. Employees of corporations, federal agencies, and state and municipal governments nationwide have the option to give to the foundation through Community Health Charities which has more than 50 years of experience in workplace giving. Touch the lives of people you know and help someone you don't know.

Kroger Rewards Program

The North Texas Chapter will earn money every time you shop at Kroger. It's simple: just swipe your Kroger Plus Card at checkout. To be eligible, you must register your Kroger Rewards Card at www.KrogerCommunityRewards.com and select CCFA North Texas #89536. 

eBay for Charity

Through eBay Giving Works you can support the causes that matter most to you by buying and selling on eBay. Visit givingworks.ebay.com and select Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, North Texas Chapter as your charity of choice. 

Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Reward Program

Shop at Tom Thumb and support the North Texas Chapter. Tom Thumb will pay the North Texas Chapter 1 percent of your total grocery purchases. To sign up, simply fill out the Good Neighbor program section and the top part of a reward card application, indicating the North Texas number #3318 and return it to the courtesy booth at your local store.

If you have an existing Tom Thumb Rewards Card, you can change your designated organization at any time simply by indicating the account number to add or delete using a reward card application. You will need to complete the top section and the Good Neighbor program section and return it to the courtesy booth at your local store.
