Health Maintenance Checklists

The Foundation's Professional Education Committee, a subcommittee of the National Scientific Advisory Committee, has produced evidence-based health maintenance checklists for adult and pediatric IBD patients. The resources are viewable electronically and can be printed for use in your practice.

GI Tract Guide

This interactive resource helps providers discuss anatomy with their patients and review where an individual’s disease may be active. The Guide is built to function on any internet-enabled device—smartphone, tablet, or computer—and is even disease-specific. It covers disease information in all areas of the body.

Payer Resources

In light of current trends toward stricter utilization management, increased member cost-share, and other initiatives that may create a barrier to patient access, managed care professionals and affiliated network providers require education on the economic burden and health care resource utilization of IBD. Furthermore, given increased focus on value-based benefit design, utilization management, and payer-led clinical interventions to address shortfalls in provider practice, payer stakeholders also require an influx of valuable information to effectively address the evolving paradigm of disease management. The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, in partnership with Impact Education, LLC® and Postgraduate Institute for Medicine, offer a number of resources for those in the payer community including this primer, an Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Clinical Primer and Care Pathway Tool Kit, and our expert interview, Discussing IBD Collaborations for Improved Access to Quality Care.

Professional Conferences and Events

Educational seminars, conferences, meetings, and events throughout the country for health care professionals to expand their knowledge of IBD issues, network with other IBD leaders, and get inspired to improve patient care.
