This data can be found in “The Cost of Inflammatory Bowel Disease: An Initiative from the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation,” publication expected in Spring 2019 in the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases journal. The study analyzed insurance claims data for 52,782 IBD patients with commercial and Medicare Advantage plans from 2007-2016.
