October 07, 2021
As Co-Chairs for The FETE on October 7, 2021, we’d like to personally invite you to partner with us on this exclusive, VIP event where our most passionate supporters gather together to raise funds and awareness for our largest growing patient population - children. From the outset, it was important to find the right venue partner that not only fit the intention of the event, but also shared our passion to host a unique, engaging, and inspirational night with the utmost safety based on current CDC guidelines. We are thrilled to have that relationship with the Children’s Museum of Denver as this year’s Venue Sponsor!
Both of us have been involved with the Foundation for the last decade and have served on the local chapter board for the past six years. Julie is a patient with Crohn’s disease who was diagnosed during college, and she has learned to live with Crohn’s during some of life’s most stressful times and challenges. Being a mom of two young children and knowing there is a genetic component to the disease is what fueled her desire to spearhead our largest fundraising events in the Denver area.
Joy is the mother of two children with Crohn’s disease and understands first-hand how differently the disease can impact a child’s life. She and her family have been involved in every facet of the Foundation, connecting, and engaging with other pediatric families living through similar struggles. It was important to both of us that this year’s event be full of intention and gratitude while raising critical funds to further our progress in finding cures for a childhood free of these diseases.
We hope you will join us to celebrate the incredible strides that have been made in pediatric IBD care and invest in our efforts to continue this important work.
