Each chapter brings the work of the entire Foundation to their local community. You can make a difference by connecting and participating with your local chapter.

Take Steps is the Foundation's largest fundraising event of local community walks dedicated to raising funds to find cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Participants and teams raise funds throughout the year and come together at the Take Steps walk event to celebrate their fundraising achievements! Join us May 5th at our NEW location- Baylor Scott & White Performance Center at The Star in Frisco.

Take Steps is the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation's largest fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the 1.6 million American adults and children affected by Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The day of the Walk is filled with food, entertainment and inspirational speeches from patients affected by these diseases. The Keymorada Invitational Fishing Tournament takes place each year during the second week of May, at the beautiful Cheeca Lodge Resort & Spa in Islamorada Florida.

Program highlights include the McCready Family Award presented by Mike & Ashley McCready, a family's story of a child diagnosed with IBD, a young professional's perspective, a long-time patient's experience, and updates on how your donations advance IBD research and patient care.
