Helpful Apps and Digital Health Services

Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis can be challenging to manage, from the physical symptoms that impact your daily life to managing the stress and worries that accompany a chronic disease diagnosis. One way we can support you is by linking to trusted lifestyle (diet, nutrition, and physical activity), mental health and wellness apps, along with digital health services. These apps and services are designed to help you manage the impact of your Crohn's and/or colitis on your quality of life and enhance access to timely and appropriate IBD Care.

The Foundation has reviewed and vetted these apps and digital health services. The review includes an assessment of the business, addressing an unmet need of the IBD community, data utilization, and provision of care, as well as IBD documentation, evaluation of care guidelines, referral processes, and other protocols. Digital health companies providing direct care are also required to demonstrate ongoing education of their providers.

We are providing links to these resources as we believe can support you in your IBD journey. Within each app, you'll find Foundation resources and relevant links that may be helpful to you. Please review the descriptions below, and then, using the links provided, you can navigate to the app most suited to your personal goals. Some of these apps may have a fee for use. Details about fees and other information can be found within the apps.
