Do not use Velsipity if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. May cause fetal harm. Use effective contraception during treatment and for one week after stopping Velsipity.
It is unknown if Velsipity passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor about the best way to feed your baby if you take Velsipity.
Common side effects may include: upper respiratory tract infections, elevated liver enzymes, headache, and dizziness.
Do not take Velsipity if in the last 6 months you experienced myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, stroke, transient ischemic attack, decompensated heart failure requiring hospitalization, or Class III or IV heart failure or have or have had a history of unusual heartbeats (arrhythmia) that is not corrected by a pacemaker.
