Patient Financial Assistance Programs
Many companies and organizations provide assistance to patients who need financial support to pay for IBD medications, treatments, and services. Please note - eligibility varies from program to program so please check the guidelines carefully.
Assistance with costs associated with delivered food, medication, diagnostics, transportation and telehealth as a result of COVID-19 risk or incidence.
Financial aid assistance for Entyvio®: The EntyvioConnect Bridge Program (“Program”) is designed to provide continuity of care when an eligible Entyvio patient experiences a loss of or gap in commercial insurance coverage. Patients must be currently receiving Entyvio therapy and experiencing a gap in or loss of commercial coverage. The Program is not available to patients who are eligible for federal or state healthcare programs (eg, Medicare, Medicaid) or residents of MA and OH.
Good Days assists in paying for insurance copays for those in need of financial assistance. The organization also offers additional financial help, emotional support and guidance for patients with IBD.
Healthwell Foundation provides financial assistance for patients with IBD who cannot afford the out-of-pocket expenses associated with their insurance coverage.
Healthwell Foundation Pediatric Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to eligible families so their children can start or continue life-saving medical treatments.
AbbVie has expanded financial assistance to support qualifying* patients who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. If you lost employer-provided health insurance that covered your AbbVie treatment and can no longer pay for Humira, please call: 1-800-448-6472.
Needy Meds lists various patient assistance programs providing assistance for specific IBD medications, free clinics and programs that provide copay assistance. It also has a toll free Helpline to provide individualized assistance and research into more complex cases. 1-800-503-6897.
NORD's Rare Pediatric GI Lodging Assistance Program offers financial support to the rare pediatric GI diagnosed community in the form of lodging assistance to enable rare disease specific consults, care and treatment.
The PAN Foundation COVID-19 Treatment and Prevention Fund helps at-risk individuals on Medicare who are diagnosed with the virus or directed to self-quarantine by a healthcare provider to cover essential expenses.
Through the COVID Care Recovery Fund, PAF Financial Aid Counselors are providing financial assistance through this small grant program, assisting eligible patients who are in need of non-medical day to day cost of living expenses as a result of their diagnosis of COVID-19.
