Meet Allison Brown-Corson

Hello, I'm Allison Brown-Corson. I reside in Omaha Nebraska. I moved around this amazing country because my father was in the Air Force. I love seeing new places but fell in love with Nebraska. So, when I was old enough I made the huge move to come to a place I have always called home.
I am so excited to become the Associate Director for Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Nebraska/Iowa Chapter. I have a passion for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation as I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease approximately 10 years ago.
Throughout my career, I have worked to make my community a better place for all. I have worked at Boys Town, Omaha Home for Boys, Youth Emergency Services, the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools, and several other smaller nonprofits.
I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Nebraska Omaha. While at UNO, I was honored to serve as the Student President/Regent. My educational journey did not lead me to the job I thought was going to be my passion. A close friend asked me to be the fundraiser/quality assurance for a small nonprofit and I had finally found my passion. It was connecting people to issues that they were also concerned about I love telling stories about how people have influence in their community.
I am grandmother to three-year-old Myles. Also, I am married to Jim and have three children, Sean, Jordyn and Alex. I am living the Jeep Life. I love music, sports, and reading.
I firmly believe in the words spoken by John Wesley : Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can. This principle has been instrumental in my personal growth and how I approach challenges.
Let us have coffee!! I would love to get to know you better. Please contact me a 402-981-3680 or email me at [email protected]
