Trot for a Cause: Join the Turkey Trot this November! 🦃

Uniting to care & cure

Are you ready to trot towards cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis this Thanksgiving? Join the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation's Connecticut/Westchester Chapter Turkey Trot anytime, anyplace this November! Whether you run, walk, or waddle to the fridge for leftovers, every trot helps fund critical research and patient programs for people living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
So, grab your family, friends, neighbors—even the dog—and let’s waddle for that extra slice of pie.
Let’s Go There—for cures, for community, for a cause that matters.

Our Fall 2025 Impact Report is here—see how we’re driving change
for the IBD community! Explore the newest advances in IBD research, education, and support—all in one place. Take a look at what’s inside:

• We’re making it easier than ever for you to follow our progress. Visit our new Strategic Plan Progress Tracker to see how we’re moving the needle on achieving our goals.
• Foundation-supported research advances to clinical trials, including new treatments that target inflammation, fibrosis, and the gut’s
intestinal wall.
• Fewer IBD emergency department visits and hospitalizations continue to be seen among IBD patients at gastroenterology centers that participate in our national quality-of-care initiative.
• Thanks to our volunteer advocates, the Safe Step Act was
reintroduced in the House and Senate, keeping decisions about the medications you take between you and your doctor.
• More than 1,000 kids and teens with IBD were welcomed at Camp Oasis during its 20th anniversary season, building friendships, hope,
and confidence.
• Have questions about dining out with IBD? Watch our new video featuring practical tips from trusted experts.
• Watch our brief highlight video for more!

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation has played a role in every major IBD research breakthrough, including supporting the discovery of every
drug and biologic for IBD that has come to market in the past decade. We are the trusted source for IBD patients and caregivers, educating, guiding, and supporting you every step of the way.

Your support has made these achievements possible!
