Women in IBD Leadership Program
The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s initiatives for women in IBD has propelled the annual Women in IBD Breakfast and the Women in IBD Task Force. Taking this initiative one step further, the Foundation has now launched a special opportunity for a select group of women gastroenterologists to participate in our comprehensive Women in IBD Leadership Program.
The Women in IBD Leadership Program seeks to provide mid-career women gastroenterologists (10-20 years post-training) with leadership training in order to help them successfully navigate their careers to the top levels of leadership. High-performing leaders are critical to the performance of clinical care and academic institutions. Moreover, successful leaders need a myriad of strengths and competencies; they must create work climates that motivate high-quality, patient-centered care, and retain high-demand talent in a very competitive marketplace. Strong leadership adds significant value to clinical care and faculty, ultimately improving healthcare for patients.
