Study description/explanation of participation:
Our study is exploring important questions of male reproductive health in people with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, including the effects of IBD medications on fertility. Participation is straightforward: all men complete an online questionnaire, submit a blood/stool sample, and submit a semen sample at our Stanford fertility center in Sunnyvale. For participants starting a new therapy for IBD, we would also like to collect follow-up semen samples three months after starting the therapy; all results will be shared with participants.
If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, to participate in the full study with complementary semen analysis, please reach out to Brianna Cavalla ([email protected]) for more information.
