Meet Wendi! Wendi Breuer is CEO of SeaChange, the largest WBENC-certified printing company in the nation and a proud sponsor of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. An active board member who serves on various committees and is passionate about the Foundation's mission, Wendi has struggled with Crohn’s disease throughout her adult life. She has had multiple surgeries and hospitalizations, and her mother has Crohn’s disease as well. Wendi is honored and enthused to bring the leadership skills and naturally inquisitive disposition she’s known for in the print industry to her role as chair of this event.

We have partnered with the Minnesota Twins again this year for their game against the Cleveland Guardians on Sunday, May 15 at 1:10pm. Discounted tickets are $15 each, a portion of which gets donated back to the Foundation. You can buy tickets online, so invite your friends and we’ll see you there!

Camp Oasis 2022 Registration is Open!
Camp Oasis is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s summer camp program just for kids and teens with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Camp Oasis provides campers a supportive community that allows them to:
See they are not alone
Try new things
Create life-long friendships with people who truly understand them
Gain confidence and independence
Put aside their troubles, and just be a kid!
Our 11 residential Camp Oasis locations throughout the country (including Minnesota July 10-15!) provide the highest standard of care and a variety of activities including visual and performing arts, land and water sports, high ropes, and other outdoor activities. The CampOasis@Home program offers additional opportunities for campers to connect with each other and engage in fun virtual activities.
We are also looking for passionate volunteers to make a difference and be part of this life-changing experience in 2022! Volunteers help make Camp Oasis a safe and supportive space for every camper, and bring the magic of camp to life! Applications are now open for the following positions:
Oregon Wine Country, here we come! Join Team Challenge for The Oregon Wine Country 5K, Relay and Half Marathon on Labor Day Weekend, September 4! We will walk and run together to raise funds and awareness for Crohn's & colitis, and have a memorable weekend with our incredible #TCfamily! Newly Diagnosed Webinar for Black/African American Community
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation will host a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Partnership Program entitled “Gut Instincts: An IBD Educational Webinar for the Black/African American Community” on Tuesday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. CT via webinar. We are partnering with Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science and Morehouse School of Medicine, which have medical schools treating IBD patients in the underserved Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino communities. This program is geared towards those who are newly diagnosed and/or still learning and understanding their IBD journey.
This year, National Volunteer Week is April 17-22. By celebrating National Volunteer Week, we have an opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteers. Power of Two: Connects those seeking support to volunteers who have gone through similar experiences with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Connections are made within an app by phone or by chat. This program is open to patients & caregivers. For more information contact [email protected].
