Exciting Leadership Transitions for the Board of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Northwest Chapter

After careful consideration, the board has adopted a President/Vice President structure. This strategic shift aims to provide consistent and strong leadership as we embark on a new year in the Northwest Chapter. This change is timely and will better provide continuity for our ambitious goals.

Chris Adams has served as the Northwest Chapter board president for the last 4 years, leading the organization through COVID and launching Epicure - virtual and in person! We cannot thank Chris enough for his outstanding contributions and dedication to our cause. Under his guidance, our chapter has flourished, and we are thrilled that Chris will continue to serve on the board, providing invaluable insights and expertise. With Chris stepping down, we are delighted to announce that Mark Murray will be stepping into the role of Chapter President. Mark brings a wealth of experience, including serving on the national Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Board of Trustees. We are confident his leadership will further elevate our chapter's impact and reach.

In addition to this exciting change, we are thrilled to introduce a new leadership position – that of Board Vice President. We are fortunate to welcome Erin Wilson to this role, and we believe her passion and commitment will greatly enhance our board's capabilities. Erin joined the board last year and has since already had an enormous impact to our community. She adds FUN to the important work of our chapter!

The new leadership structure took effect on January 1st, and we are eager to witness its positive impact on our chapter's growth and success.

Please join me in expressing gratitude to Chris Adams for his service and welcoming Mark Murray and Erin Wilson to their new roles. With this dynamic team in place, we are confident that we will achieve even greater strides in our mission to support those affected by Crohn's and Colitis.
