Volunteer Week 2021- Meet Dr. Kunjal Gandhi

Meet today’s volunteer spotlight, Dr. Kunjal Gandhi! Dr. Gandhi has been volunteering with the Foundation for three years, using her passion for IBD care as motivation for working with us. Working with us as a healthcare provider at GI Specialist of Georgia, Dr. Gandhi recognizes that volunteering with the Georgia chapter helps her to connect with patients on a more personal level.

Dr. Gandhi has volunteered with Take Steps, and hopes to get involved with our education events, and Camp Oasis in the future. Her hopes for the future of the Foundation include that the Georgia Chapter continues to provide support for IBD patients. In the long run, through fundraising and research, she hopes that the Foundation can help find a cure for IBD.

On a personal note, Dr. Gandhi has skydiving on her bucket list, Charles Darwin as an historical figure she would like to meet, and NSYNC was her first concert.

Dr. Gandhi, we thank you immensely for your support of our chapter- we are so grateful for everything that you have done for us!
