Volunteer

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help out in a variety of ways. Volunteer positions range from one-time events or projects to ongoing support for events and programs. When you donate your time, talent, money, resources, and skills, you will help make a difference in the lives of millions of Americans with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, including the approximately 90,000 Illinois residents impacted by IBD. Please email [email protected] if you’d like to get involved in any of the below opportunities!

Current Volunteer Needs

Event Committees - Join one of our event committees (Evening of Hope dinner, Take Steps walks, or the Drive Out IBD Golf Classic) to assist in planning and fundraising for our events! Each committee's needs differ, and we'd welcome having a conversation about what opportunity would be the best fit!

Event-Day Assistance - All of our events require event-day volunteers to be a success! From check-in to sharing Foundation information, we are certain we will find the right fit. Visit our events page to see event dates & times. 

Adopt-a-Doctor - Drop off Crohn's & Colitis Foundation materials at a doctor's office in Illinois to help ensure patients have access to the Foundation's programs and information. Let us know what area you can cover, and we will get you a list of offices and materials!

Associate Board

The Illinois Associate Board is a group of young professionals who are inspired by our mission and interested in getting involved, helping fundraise in support of those with IBD, and meeting new friends! If you fit this description, the Illinois Chapter invites you to learn more about the Associate Board and become part of an empathetic, inclusive community.

Become a Member

As a member of the Foundation, you will help us further the cause while receiving special membership benefits. Membership benefits include a subscription to the chapter newsletter and national magazine, discounts on Crohn's & Colitis Foundation books, and invitations to participate in chapter events and programs. Individual memberships are only $30. Join or renew today!

Donate

Send us a gift and help support Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis research. This gift can also be made in honor of or in memory of a loved one. Visit the donation portion of our website to learn more about different ways you can donate. You can donate online here. 

Attend an Event

Throughout the year, the Illinois Chapter has events that could use your support. Whether is fundraising for Take Steps, hosting a table and joining with friends for the Evening of Hope dinner, or driving out IBD on the green, we would love to have you involved. Check out our events page to find what is right for you.
