Improving the Quality of Care for Adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease

CARE PATHWAY BACKGROUND

This research is funded by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and is being conducted in IBD Care Centers across the United States. The Foundation is working with IBD providers and researchers to develop several care pathways in an effort to provide a consistent and standardized approach to addressing unmet needs in the care of patients with IBD.

At this time, we are beta testing several care pathway tools that hopefully will help IBD care teams identify IBD patients that may be at risk for anemia or malnutrition.
