Visiting IBD Research Fellowship Program
Applications for the 2018 Visiting IBD Research Fellowship are now open.
The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Visiting IBD Research Fellowship (VIRF) is a program designed to promote career advancement for talented junior investigators dedicated to IBD research, and to enable knowledge-sharing among leaders in IBD field. The Foundation encourages outstanding young scientists and clinicians, who would like to expand their expertise in IBD research to participate in this short-term research training, carried out in a cutting-edge, NIH-funded laboratory under the mentorship of a leader in IBD research. VIRF is supported through an independent educational program grant from Gilead Sciences, Inc.
The application process for both 2018 and 2019 is now open.
March 5th 2018 at 8pm EST (for training in 2018)
September 30th 2018 at 8pm EST (for training in 2019)

All applications should be submitted to proposal central at https://proposalcentral.altum.com/.
With a guidance from National Scientific Advisory Committee, The Foundation will select and support 3-5 most qualifying applicants to participate in the program in 2018 and 2019. Eligible applicants should hold a junior faculty or trainee (clinical or research fellow) position and be authorized to work in the United States.
