For Researchers and Professionals

Advancing Research Towards Patient Impact

We support the most promising research projects at any stage, from early to late, and propel them towards new drugs and products that improve patient lives. We support research projects that range across the research continuum, including basic, translational, and clinical research.

Our mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.

The Foundation strives to ensure that each research application receives an objective, fair, equitable, and timely review. We are convinced that high-quality, unbiased reviews benefit the advancement of health sciences research. And we are committed to supporting a robust pipeline of junior investigators interested in a career in IBD.

Driving all our efforts is our concern for patients. We know IBD patients can’t wait, and we are working hard to accelerate the achievement of our vision: a world without IBD.

Since its founding, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation has invested nearly half a billion dollars in research, and the expansion in  IBD treatments and support have been immense during this time, driven in large part by our efforts.

But we won’t rest until we find cures.
