Fall Retreats

Camp Oasis is pleased to announce our Fall LIT Retreats; these in-person weekend programs will be held at five regional host sites in November of 2021. These retreats are being offered exclusively to those teens whose last year of residential camp was canceled due to the pandemic. This would include teens who graduated high school in 2021 or will graduate in 2022. If you have never been to Camp Oasis before, but fit the qualifying age group, please join us for an amazing experience and an opportunity to make new friends!

Space is limited so apply early and submit a complete application as soon as possible! Applications are considered complete when both the online portion and the hard copy forms have been received and processed by the National Camp Office. Acceptance is based on the order of the date in which the application has been completed. You will need to have your child's GI sign off on a few forms so please plan accordingly.

The application deadline is October 3rd, but individual retreat sites may close early if we reach capacity.

Registration for the 2021 LIT Retreats is closed.

These retreats will provide an opportunity to gather with others from across the Camp Oasis community for outdoor adventures, fun games, and personal growth. Retreats will be staff by our experienced Camp Oasis counselors and expert medical professionals. While each retreat will offer different activities, some activities may include: zip-lining, climbing tower, archery, hiking, Gaga, campfire, games, and more!

The registration fee for these retreats is $100, but scholarships are available to those who qualify. Travel scholarships are also available to assist families with the cost of travel associated with these regional retreats. To apply for a scholarship, simply fill out the scholarship form located within the online application.

In addition, we are willing to help coordinate carpools for those that may be interested, and we are looking into low-cost housing and some programming options for parents who will be driving a long distance. If you are interested in either of these options, please indicate so on your application.

COVID-19 Policy

Per the CDC, vaccination is the leading public health prevention strategy in the United States to help end the COVID-19 pandemic. These retreats were planned with the idea that participants in this specific age group would have the ability to be fully vaccinated well in advance of these activities. Therefore, our Medical Advisory Task Force has determined that all participants, volunteers, and staff attending the LIT Retreats must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19; receiving 2 shots of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the retreat.

Proof of vaccination must be provided by sending a copy of a COVID-19 vaccine card to the National Camp Office prior to the start of the retreats. There will be no exception to this policy. To read the Foundation's full COVID-19 policy click here.
