2020 Virtual Camp Oasis Season – Its a wrap!

We did it! This summer we hosted our first ever Virtual Camp Oasis program. Over 1300 kids participated in various camp activities that ran virtually from June 14th through August 23rd.  Additionally, each local camp planned special activities during the week of their originally scheduled residential summer camp. These activities included cabin chats, arts and crafts, talent shows, scavenger hunts and much more. The NY Camp engaged 144 campers and more than 30 volunteers from August 17th through August 22nd in our local camp activities. We were also a part of the Red Team that won the 2020 national virtual Camp Oasis Camp Color Challenge. Our team participated in the most challenges and showed the most team spirit. Way to go!

This year’s virtual Camp Oasis would not have been possible without the support of our volunteers, individuals, foundations, and corporations from across the country. We wish to thank our donors who gave generously to Camp Oasis and helped the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation support children and teens living with IBD during this unusual time.

Camp may be over, but you can follow us year-round on our Instagram page (@Camp_Oasis_ IBD) for past photos and future updates.
