Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week (December 1-7) is a time to highlight our mission of seeing a future free of Crohn’s disease & ulcerative colitis. The Foundation is helping make this future become a reality: it has played a role in nearly every major research breakthrough in IBD, including supporting the discovery of almost every drug for IBD that has come to the market. With your support, we can continue to do everything in our power to discover better treatments.
Help us make #IBDVisible by doing one or more of the following:
1. Share your story! Whether you are a caregiver, supporter, or patient- YOUR STORY MATTERS- and someone out there will benefit from hearing it.
2. Consider volunteering with our chapter by joining our committees, board, support groups, or being a day of event volunteer. Email us if interested [email protected].
3. Donate! A generous donor has offered to match all gifts up to a total of $1,000,000* through December 31, which will be directed to support the Foundation’s unique Litwin IBD Pioneers program. This program supports researchers with early-stage, novel ideas that have strong potential to make a positive impact on patients’ health.
Donate now and your gift will be matched for double the impact. Plus, when you donate $50 or more now through the end of Awareness Week (December 7), you'll receive a t-shirt allowing you to show your support for making #IBDvisible all year long!
*IF YOU ARE A TAKE STEPS PARTICIPANT PLEASE DONATE & SHARE THROUGH YOUR TAKE STEPS PAGE!

In doing so, we were able to achieve some AMAZING feats:
-Take Steps-
*36% increase in participants

*new media partnerships
-Legacy Gala-
*30% increase in overall revenue resulting in a RECORD-BREAKING YEAR!
*10% increase in sponsorships
-Camp Oasis-

*14 medical professionals
*20+ volunteers/counselors
While we will continue to strive to exceed our 2023 goals, we want to take this time to thank everyone who helped our Chapter. Without you, we would not be able to make the IMPACT we continue to make for our IBD patients and families. THANK YOU HOOSIERS!
Happy holidays!
