On May 19, we stand with more than 10 million people around the world living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, united in raising awareness and inspiring action. This year’s World IBD Day theme, “More Than the Gut,” shines a light on the invisible impact of IBD — from mental health challenges to the way it affects daily life. IBD is about far more than digestion; it shapes how people manage pain, navigate relationships, and cope with stress every day.

Welcome to the New Power of Two IBD Peer Mentoring Program
Our peer-to-peer mentoring program connects people living with IBD for goal-focused conversations facilitated by highly trained volunteer mentors with lived experience. This short-term partnership provides practical guidance and real-world tips to help build confidence, inform decisions, and take meaningful steps toward living well with Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis. Now accepting applications for both mentors and mentees.
