Welcome to the Southern Florida Chapter!

The Southern Florida Chapter serves donors and constituents throughout the state. We reach more than 94,000 loyal constituents. We support Florida patients and family members with education programs, support programs, and community awareness and advocacy.
Through our signature Take Steps program, we engage over 4,200 participants annually who walk and fundraise for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. Through Team Challenge, we engage more than 200 targeted endurance athletes for a four-month period as they train for various endurance challenges and fundraise high dollar amounts for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. Through our various fundraising and education programs, more than 16,000 people will donate or support the cause.

COVID-19 Update

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation continues to support the entire IBD Community during the Coronavirus pandemic, including the IBD scientific and healthcare provider community – which is depending on us to provide credible information on patient care during this challenging time. I thought you’d appreciate knowing that last week, in partnership with American College of Gastroenterology, the Foundation hosted a professional education conference about COVID-19 and IBD, which registered more than 1,600 providers from across the country. Healthcare professionals received Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours for their participation, and were equipped with critical knowledge and teachings about IBD patient care during this pandemic.
