COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

Great news for the Crohn’s & Colitis community in Massachusetts! Mass.gov updated the Phase 2 COVID-19 vaccine eligibility guidelines to include those with an immunocompromised state (having a weakened immune system). As you may know, previous guidelines only listed individuals immunocompromised because of a solid organ transplant. 

Special thank you to our many volunteers who wrote letters to the Governor and the Public Health Department, including our New England Chapter Medical Advisory Committee, led by Dr. Sarah Flier and Dr. Josh Korzenik, and volunteer leaders Andy & Robin Davis and Stephen Marcus.
