Women of Distinction Luncheon Raised more than $1.4M | May 11, 2023

This year we celebrated the 30th Anniversary the Women of Distinction Luncheon and the significant impact that women continue to have in shaping the world we live in.  Since its inception in 1993, the luncheon has raised over $33 million to advance the Foundation’s efforts. This event was made possible if not for the vision and determination of our luncheon founders, Nancy Brown and Sue Ellen Schneider who with the support of Diane Miller, Rita Tansky and Sandra Wasserman established this event to honor patients and caregivers. Each year, we are privileged to pay hommage to true individuals of distinction. 

Honorees included:

• Marcy Nanus, Woman of Distinction in Business
• Deborah Martin, Woman of Distinction
• Ryan Miller, Rising Star

Naeem Khan presented his Fall 2023 Collection and Lori Stokes, Co-Host, FOX5 Good Day New York was amazing as our Mistress of Ceremonies. A special thank you to June Jacobs, Trish McEvoy, and Naturally Serious for the gift bag items.
