Greater San Diego and Desert Area Chapter
Welcome to the Greater San Diego and Desert Area Chapter!
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D. in New York City.
We are a strong team dedicated to assisting patients and families throughout their experience with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as educating our communities about IBD. We serve San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties.
Thank you to our 2021 Friends of the Foundation Sponsors!

Industry Cup Challenge
The Industry Cup Challenge is a friendly competition between our industry partners in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and medical device space to see whose employees can spread the most awareness for IBD by raising the most funds to support the mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Thank you to our 2020 Greater San Diego & Desert Area Chapter Supporters!
We are deeply grateful to them for their extraordinarily generous gifts. Because of their support, we can continue our mission to Care & Cure for the IBD community.
