Protecting Copay Assistance: Federal Campaign
The Foundation is working to pass legislation in the US Congress and to influence Federal rules for all health plans. The HELP Copays Act would require health insurance plans to count all the funds that they receive from or on the behalf of patients be credited to that patient’s cost sharing obligations. This would outlaw the use of copay accumulators.
